Chad D. Guetersloh, MD

Dr. Chad D. Guetersloh was born and raised in Plains, Texas and moved to the Dallas area in 1992.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Baylor University in 1992.  He received his medical training from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine in 1996.  He then completed three years of pediatric residency training at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, and served an additional year as Chief Resident in Pediatrics.  Dr. Guetersloh has been in private practice since 2000. He is active in his church and community in Prosper, TX where he has lived for the past 6 years.  Dr. Guetersloh has been married to his wife Buffie since 1995 and has three children.  In his spare time he enjoys skiing, scuba diving, taekwondo, and physical fitness.

 

Christopher "Kit" Newton, MD, PhD

Dr. Christopher "Kit" Newton has lived in Texas since 1982.  He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989.  Dr. Newton completed the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 1996, receiving his M.D. and his Ph.D. in molecular biology/biochemistry.  He then completed three years of pediatric residency training at Children's Medical Center in Dallas in 1999 before beginning his private practice career.  He married his wife Kara in 1991 and they have four children.  He is an active triathlete who is involved in medical education, community service, coaching youth sports, and spending time with his family.

 

Richard C. Nail, MD

Dr. Richard C. Nail was raised in Richardson, Texas.  He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1987 and his Master of Science in 1991.  After working for 8 years at Texas Instruments in the field of integrated circuit design and marketing, he returned to school to pursue his dream of a medical education.  Dr. Nail received his Doctor of Medicine in 1999 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He then completed three years of pediatric residency training at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, and served an additional year as Chief Resident in Pediatrics before going into private practice.  He is very active in medical student education at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and UT Health Science Center in Galveston.  Dr. Nail has lived in Plano with his wife Jill since 1988, and has two sons and one daughter.  He enjoys family activities, physical fitness, tennis, fishing, household repair, and is an avid Ford Mustang enthusiast.

 

Susan Weiser Crow, MD

Dr. Susan W. Crow was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001.  Dr. Crow attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine in 2006.  She then completed three years of pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Children's Medical Center of Dallas in 2009.  With her background in Nutrition, she is especially interested in lactation, infant and toddler nutrition, and eating disorders.  Dr. Crow recently married her husband Brandon in 2011.  She enjoys traveling, yoga, tennis, and spending time with her family and her dog, Charlie.

 

Deborah Arnold Smith, RN, MSN, CPNP

Deborah Arnold Smith is a native Texan.  She grew up in Dallas and in Maryland, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 1981.  Upon returning to Dallas, she began her nursing career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and later at Medical City Children's Hospital in Dallas.  After starting a family, she returned to school and earned a Masters Degree in Pediatric Nursing at Texas Woman's University and became certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2006.  Debbie has lived in Dallas since 1981 and has three sons and a dog.  She enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, and children...of course.
