Centennial Pediatrics

Updates

October 21, 2012: Extended office hours 8am-9am Monday thru Friday

Centennial Pediatrics is excited to announce extended URGENT CARE office hours from 8am-9am Monday thru Friday.

HOW DOES THIS WORK:

1. Do I need to make an appointment?

NO.

This will be a walk-in clinic. Appointments will be given first come first serve from 8am-9am.

(Our office will still accept phone calls during regular office hours 9am-5pm Monday thru Friday)

2. Will I get to see my own primary doctor?

NO. Patients will be seen by Dr. Laura McClendon and our nurse practitioner.

3. What if I show up and the clinic is already full?

If you show up and the clinic is full, you will be given the opportunity to schedule an appointment with your primary doctor. You will be given the first available sick appointment. Please realize that the first available appointment with your primary doctor might not be until late morning or early afternoon.

4. Is this a good time to discuss my child’s chronic medical problems such as behavior problems and long standing abdominal pain?

NO. This is for urgent care only. For example: ear infections, breathing issues, vomiting, strep throat, etc. Your child’s chronic medical problems should be evaluated by your child’s primary physician during normal office hours.

5. Can I have my well physical done during this time?

NO. This is for URGENT CARE only. See above. Well physicals will be scheduled only during our normal office hours 9am-5pm Monday thru Friday.

6. Will this be available everyday?

NO. We will have extended office hours available most days Monday thru Friday. However, these extended hours are subject to change. Before coming in, check our website and facebook to make sure hours have not changed for the day.

Normal clinic hours and normal phone hours have not changed and will continue to be from 9am-5pm Monday thru Friday. Please be advised that our extended hours are subject to change, however. Any changes will be posted on our website and on facebook.
